ABOUT ME
Hello! My name is Dianne. I work freelance as a proofreader, copy editor, and book cover designer. I've always expressed a keen eye for detail; combining this skill with my love of reading and art has proved a good match. I am presently a freelance proofreader/copy editor for many authors and delight in my enriching and rewarding relationships with them. I also enjoy producing vibrant work in graphic design & photo manipulation. Currently, my design concentration involves book covers. I find joy in conceptualizing a story, of bringing your idea of a representative and eye-catching cover to life. Mood can be conveyed in such variety utilizing color, light, captivating components and interesting textures. Assisting an author in bringing their creation to its ultimate best is truly rewarding to me. Let's collaborate!
Having spent most of my life involved in the pet care industry, for the past several years I have now been fortunate in pursuing my other lifelong passion for the arts. My personal favorite genre to read is MM Romance, however, my cover designs span all genres. I am thoroughly and lovingly supervised by a goofy German shepherd named Lago.

When I first contacted Lyrical Lines to design a book cover for a (recently released) new science fiction anthology (Detours Through Liminal Space), I really had no idea what I wanted--just a vague notion that I think I characterized as "something science fictiony". The cover designs option I got from Lyrical Lines were all spectacular, so much so that I had a hard time choosing among them. Once I finally made a selection, the submitted artwork met all of Createspace's technical specifications on the first go-round and the book was published within minutes after final approval. In addition, Lyrical Lines went above and beyond to create banners and other artwork for me to use in promoting both the book itself and also all of the individual authors who contributed to the final product. Definitely money well spent!
